緒方 数馬 / Kazuma Ogata
福岡生まれ、現在東京を拠点に活動。
日用品を拘束したり積み上げていくインスタレーション作品のシリーズを始め、個展、グループ展を多数行う。
日頃見慣れている風景の中で、脈略のないもの同士が上下に重なり合うことで新しい意味を持ったり、ユーモアが生まれる瞬間があります。
またはその逆もありけりです。それは現代の生活で目にするSNSや動画共有サイトのタイムラインで起こる小さな偶然にも似ています。
僕は既製品を用いて、その偶然性と一過性が生む"瞬間"を探求しています。

Ogata is known for Creating Sculptures from Stacking and binding everyday objects, presenting them in both solo and group exhibitions.
“ When objects that have nothing in common are stacked, there is this one moment where discover humour. On the other hand there is
a moment where things just don’t work out. This is similar to the small miracles (humous) that occur within flowing image in the SNS timeliness
we see everyday. I seek to create the same moment of impermanence and contingency by using everyday objects. “
