Born 1955 in Kingston, Jamaica. In the mid-1970s, he left his island. He began his photography career
in Toronto, Canada, with an exhibition at the Jane Corkin Gallery in 1987. That year, he left Toronto and moved to Paris where he embarked on fashion photography while pursuing his artistic work. For some time, Nigel has been creative in collaborations for surfboards, photography and books. In 1996 , he moved to
New York where he lives and works.
He does numerous solo and group exhibitions: 2006, 2008 National Biennale, National Gallery, Kingston, Jamaica. Bob Marley Anniversary Bob Marley Museum Kingston, Jamaica. Polarity (her 8th solo exhibition) Jane Corkin Gallery, Toronto, Canada. In 2012-14, "Conversations with Blue" was exhibited at Colette, Paris, Clear Gallery, Tokyo, and Corkin Gallery in Toronto, Canada. His work is part of important public and
private collections around the world.
