本展「Just call my name and I’ ll be there」は、2019 年の『We must bring salvation back (「お互いに救いの心を取り戻そう」)』CLEAR GALLERY TOKYO からの継続した展示となります。

展覧会タイトルは、作品制作中に滞在先の古いラジオから流れてきた曲からきており、偶然耳にしたその一節は、まるで異なる世界からのメッセージのように作品と響き合い、堀内の描く女性たちを通して、私達の大切な記憶とも交差していくでしょう。本展覧会は２部構成となっており、会期後半には新作を展示いたします。

“Just call my name and I’ ll be there” is a series exhibition continuing from “We must bring salvation back”,
an exhibition by Yui Horiuchi at CLEAR GALLERY TOKYO in 2019.

A song Horiuchi heard from an old radio during her stay for drawing originated the ex hibition title, and the phrase of coincidental encounter resonates with her works and our precious memories. This exhibition is divided into two halves; we will exhibit her new series of works in the second half.
